It would seem his white-haired predecessor was a little more popular than Capcom thought he was. He was cocky and consistently fun to watch, but his absence has no negative effect on the series, which is and has always been about slick, fluid combat and pummeling demons as stylishly as possible. This series has always looked good, but DmC is beautiful. Visually, the first three games were dark and gothic, and that contrasted well with their over-the-top action and wacky nature.

If i do my job right, you should be seeing a story of Dante that breaks the myth that all videogame stories are trite and will never stand up to the best that theatre and film have to offer. So where does he say that there would be no humor in it? The only I see there is he is sounding a little close to being full of himself. Do you think that that scene is meant to be intentionally played up for laughs? Can you elaborate on that?
